L’Oreal Magic Retouch Dark Brown: Quick Root Fix for Busy Days
As a Filipino parent juggling work, lunch prep, and school runs, I don’t always have time (or budget) for a quick salon visit. On weeks when white roots start to show and I just need to look neat for a meeting or a PTA event, Dark Brown L'Oreal Magic Retouch is my quick, time-saving fix.
My simple rule: I only use it between colour appointments, when roots are starting to peek through but I can’t book a dye session yet. It’s a temporary spray that blends regrowth so it’s less noticeable, then it washes out easily with shampoo. No fuss, just enough to feel presentable.
How I apply it (quick and clean):
- Start with dry hair and shake the can well.
- Hold it about 10–15 cm away and spray the roots using short, light bursts. Build slowly instead of spraying too much at once.
- Let it set for about a minute and avoid touching while it dries.
- Tip: Place a small towel over your shoulders to protect your clothes.
Shade tip: If your hair is dark brown to near-black, the Dark Brown shade blends naturally. When I’m unsure between two shades, I usually choose the slightly darker one so the roots blend better.
Why it works for busy families: It buys you time. Whether it’s school photos, a quick Zoom meeting, or Sunday lunch with the in-laws, it helps you look tidy without committing to a full hair color. It won’t replace a proper salon dye, but it keeps things neat until you can schedule one.
Authenticity matters. Look for official L'Oreal certification markings on the can. At dima.com.ph, we stock imported health and beauty items from the UK and Italy, so you get genuine products that fit everyday life here at home.
